Way late to the party but I have to say that was the best cover of No Reply I've ever heard. Almost spooky how much they sounded like the record I remember so fondly from my youth. I send these kudos into the ether for what they're worth, expecting no reply. Ha.

Like I always say, if you're going to cover a Beatles tune you better get it exactly right or do an altogether different version that completely bowls everybody over. There's really no middle ground. Their tunes are so iconic and such a part of the collective DNA that if you don't get it right it just sounds grating and these guys just miss the mark. The only way anyone will ever get away with a cover like this is when every last one of us original Beatlemaniacs are 6 feet under. Damn good try guys but, no dice.

Wow, talk about perfectly getting the Star Club 1962 performance down pat, including the background crowd sounds. I think these guys have a future.
